Two Premierships for Torquay in Saturday Pennant

Updated: Oct 20, 2023

Congratulations to our Finalists in Saturday Pennant, with 2 out of the 3 bringing home the Premiership. Well done.

With Saturday declared as a Total Fire Ban, there was a late change to play on the reserve day, Sunday. Divisions 2 to 10 played at 10am, with Premier & Division 1 starting at 2pm in order for clubs and supporters to follow both.

Division 2 playing at Lara ended up in a cliff-hanger with a measure for the 1 shot to secure them a win overall 72-71 against Geelong 1.

Unfortunately, Division 4 playing at Highton were unable to post a win against Bell Post Hill. Great effort for getting into the Grand Final.

Division 1 played at Drysdale against St. Leonards 1 and were able to take all rinks with a 79-62 win, a great result after a disappointing loss in last year's final. Well done to all.
